Therapy Approach

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

— Carl Rogers

I offer an approach that integrates various evidence-based psychotherapy methods, including:

  • Mindfulness and Compassion-Based Interventions

  • Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapy

  • Internal Family Systems

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

My work is guided by a strong collaboration and shaped by what is most helpful in each moment of the therapeutic process, for each client.

Whether I am supporting individuals, couples, families or teens, my intention is to create a grounded space where insight can emerge, and deeper integration can unfold — making room for both self-acceptance and meaningful change.

Areas of focus include:

  • • Anxiety and Depression

    • Stress Management

    • Life Transitions

    • Relationship and Familial issues

    • Anger Management

    • Loss and Grief Counseling

    • Separation and Divorce

    • Parenting Skills

    • Conflict and Communication issues

  • • Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

    • Substance Use and Addiction

I work in person and online. I am also fluent in Portuguese and accept clients who would prefer sessions in their native Language.
