Ana Jardim Messenger

My work is guided by a deep curiosity about how people grow, heal, and reconnect with what feels most authentic and meaningful in their lives.

I discovered my love of working with people undergoing the process of change in the first chapter of my professional life, when I worked for over 10 years in the corporate world as an organizational change consultant.

My curiosity for the human element of that work eventually led me to pursue continuous clinical training in the mental health field, where I found the deeper meaning I had been seeking. I soon found myself working in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings — work that was deeply rewarding and, at times, frustrating. Many treatments provided short-term relief but did not fully support people in accessing their own inner capacity for continuous healing.

This realization shaped the direction of my work. It fueled my commitment to study various psychotherapeutic frameworks and to integrate mindfulness-based approaches that help clients cultivate self-inquiry, resilience, and inner wisdom.

Ana Jardim Messenger, Psychotherapy and Mindfulness
A landscape painting by Ana Jardim Messenger, of a green grassy field with a river running through it, under a sky filled with clouds and patches of blue

Over the last fifteen years, I have also been exploring the profound intersection between mental health and spirituality — particularly how people can reconnect with a sense of belonging, balance, and equanimity in simple, grounded ways.

I live on the East Coast and cherish time with my family, friends, and nature.

I delight in painting, and some of my work appears throughout this site. I hope I’ll always feel inspired by the many pathways life offers for inner awakening and connection.
